i still get a kick out of seeing how far a girl is willing to go to transform herself for a potential mate. be careful, your desperation is showing.
my taste (in everything) is already awesome. i could never change that about myself in order to impress someone i liked. i would rather be alone until i die than pretend i don’t play more video games than the average teenaged boy or listen to captain beefheart or consider cryptozoology a hobby or have a vast collection of science fiction comic books and magazines under my bed.
so be yourself, even if yourself is boring. just don’t be a liar. chances are, you’ll find someone equally as mediocre as you, and there will be no need to pretend to be anything cooler than what you aren’t.
